Love this product, it makes my skin feel smoother. It does dry it out a little but if you have a good moisturizer to put on after then you should be fine, also if you have a breakout or two right after using that's normal, it's pulling all the gunk to the surface. Very effective and I feel no need to use another exfoliating product as this does a good job on its own. 10/10, I have sensitive skin so that's saying a lot.

The real problem

Your pores aren't dirty.
They're clogged — and scrubbing harder won't fix that.

A blackhead isn't dirt sitting on your skin. It's a plug of oil and dead skin cells trapped inside an open pore — the dark color is just that mixture oxidizing on contact with air. Scrubbing the surface doesn't reach it, because the problem isn't on the surface.

Foam cleansers, scrubs, and pore strips work on the top layer. None of them can pull what's sitting inside the follicle. That's why the same blackheads keep coming back in the same spots, no matter how hard you wash.

The fix

Clay works differently. It pulls — it doesn't scrub.

Clay carries a natural negative charge that draws oil and debris out of the pore as it dries, rather than pushing product in or scraping the surface. Layer in AHA, BHA, and PHA acids and you add a second mechanism on top: gentle chemical exfoliation that loosens what's bonding the debris to the pore lining in the first place.

55.1% avg. reduction in visible pore size, volume & depth*
21.3% fewer visible blackheads & whiteheads after one use*
3 min quick-dry formula — no 20-minute wait

*Manufacturer-reported results from our internal consumer test panel. Independent, third-party verification was not available at time of writing — individual results vary. Used consistently, this mask helps manage visible pore congestion between washes. It does not permanently shrink pores or cure acne, and it isn't a substitute for a dermatologist if you have persistent or cystic breakouts.

Before you ask

Questions worth asking before you buy

Will this get rid of my blackheads for good?

Honestly — no single mask does, and we'd rather tell you that upfront than oversell it. Clay pulls oil and debris out of the pore and the acids loosen what's holding it there, but pores refill within days without consistent use. Used 2–3x a week as part of a routine, most people see visibly clearer pores that stay that way. Used once and forgotten, it won't.

Is it safe for sensitive or acne-prone skin?

The formula includes citrus peel oils for scent and salicylic acid (BHA) for exfoliation — both can be irritating if you have eczema, very reactive skin, or a compromised skin barrier. If that's you, patch-test on your inner arm 24 hours before your first full application, and check with a dermatologist if you're unsure.

How often should I use it?

Use as directed on the bottle.

Is it supposed to feel tight and start cracking?

A tightening feeling is normal — that's the clay drawing water out as it sets. Don't wait for it to fully crack and flake before rinsing; that's the clay pulling moisture from your skin, not just the mask. Rinse once it's dry to the touch, then follow with a moisturizer.

How is this different from a regular drugstore clay mask?

Most clay masks rely on absorption alone. This one layers AHA, BHA, and PHA acids on top of the clay, so you get chemical exfoliation loosening debris at the same time the clay is drawing it out — two mechanisms instead of one, in a 3-minute quick-dry formula instead of the usual 15–20 minute wait.
